Have a question?
Can sole proprietors use Bolta?
Yes. Sole proprietors can sign up and start with the Free plan.
Does the Free plan include unlimited tax invoices?
Yes. Free includes unlimited tax invoices, amended invoices, and cash receipts, plus KakaoTalk issuance notifications and counterparty management.
Can I register my certificate on macOS?
Yes. Register your certificate once on macOS to issue tax invoices and collaborate with your team.
Can I request a feature?
Send us your feature request using Contact us. We will review it and let you know our plans.
Can I view invoices issued through Bolta on Hometax?
Yes. Tax invoices issued through Bolta are reported to the National Tax Service and can also be viewed on Hometax.
Can I issue tax-exemption invoices as well as tax invoices?
Yes. Choose the tax-exempt type on the issuing screen to issue a tax-exemption invoice.
Do you check whether a counterparty's business registration number is valid?
Yes. Bolta checks the NTS business registration status once when you add the counterparty and again when you issue, and blocks numbers that are not registered with the NTS.
Can I see invoices that were not issued through Bolta?
Yes. Import your sales and purchase invoices from Hometax and review them in Bolta.
What happens when a payment arrives in several installments?
Link multiple payments to a single invoice to see its payment status.
How does the payment request reach the counterparty?
The due date and bank details are included in the tax invoice email.
Do I need to contact sales or sign a separate contract for the API?
No. Create test and live API keys in the Developer Center after signing up.
Does testing send anything to the NTS?
No. Test keys (test_) verify the integration without sending to the NTS and do not deduct points. Use live keys (live_) for real issuance.
Is there a minimum spend for the API?
No. Standard and amended invoices cost KRW 90 each, and reverse issuance costs KRW 200 per invoice. There are no technical support or maintenance fees. Business registration status lookup costs KRW 10 per business registration number.
Do the listed prices include VAT?
No. All prices exclude 10% VAT.
How do you protect customer data?
TLS encrypts every connection. Layered VPN, IdP, and MFA controls govern access to servers and databases on AWS. Bolta is an NTS-certified system operator (registration number 41000240).
