Business registration OCR APIB2B onboarding and vendor registration
One certificate upload. Entry and verification done.
Still typing business details by hand at sign-up? Read a business registration certificate file and get the NTS verification result to fill your form.
Read the details from the file. Verify them with the NTS.
Bolta reads the business registration number, business name, representative names, opening date, address, and business types from an uploaded certificate. It then checks the values with the NTS and returns the result in the same response.
Upload the certificate
A user uploads a certificate PDF or photo on your sign-up or vendor registration screen.
Get the values and the result
You receive the business details and whether the registration number, representative name, and opening date match NTS records.
Prefill the form
Prefill the values when the NTS check matches and the image is sharp enough. Let users review and correct them before you save.
Check entered details against the NTS before you trust them.
Typed values or text in a photo do not prove the registration is real. Get the verification result with the data and decide during onboarding or vendor registration.
| Value read | How it is checked |
|---|---|
| Business registration number | NTS verification |
| Representative name | NTS verification (first representative) |
| Opening date | NTS verification |
| Business name, address, business types | Confirmed by the user |

Integrate this Bolta API into the current project. One certificate upload. Entry and verification done. Read the official documentation first and propose an implementation that fits the project's language and structure. https://docs.bolta.io/llms.txt https://docs.bolta.io/docs/api-introduction/quickstart https://docs.bolta.io/docs/api-introduction/business-registration-certificate https://docs.bolta.io/docs/api-introduction/pricing Prerequisites and scope: - Call it with just an API key. No issuer registration, joint certificate, or subscription plan is required. - The NTS check covers the registration number, first representative name, and opening date. Have users confirm the business name, address, and business types themselves. Business registration OCR: KRW 100 per document Billed separately from your subscription and deducted from prepaid points. Sending the same file again is charged again. Read the API key from a server environment variable. Do not ask for secrets in chat. Start with the documented test key and test inputs. Test goals: Use the fixed test key result to verify form prefill. Handle MATCHED, NOT_MATCHED, and UNAVAILABLE in validation and LOW_RESOLUTION in inputQuality separately, and have users confirm the business name, address, and business types. Set the read timeout to 60 seconds or more. Do not invent undocumented features or responses. Identify open questions and summarize test results and production-readiness steps.
Questions before you integrate
What does it read from the certificate?
The business registration number, business name, representative names, opening date, address, and business types. Corporate certificates also include the corporate registration number, and branch certificates include the branch number. If the registration number cannot be read, the API returns an error. Other values it cannot read come back empty.
What does the verification check?
Whether the registration number, first representative name, and opening date match NTS records. If an NTS outage blocks the check, the response says so and you are not charged.
Do you store the uploaded file?
No. Bolta stores neither the uploaded file nor the values it reads. Responses never include personal ID numbers such as resident registration numbers.
How is this different from the free OCR tool?
The free tool is a page for checking one certificate right now. The API runs the same process automatically inside your sign-up or vendor registration flow.
Start integrating today. No contract needed.
Test keys never use points. Confirm your form integration with the fixed result, then switch to a live key.
