How this is calculated
Last verified 2026-08-01
What this covers
- Estimates by excluding the non-taxable amount from both taxable monthly pay and the social insurance base.
- You choose whether national pension applies. Health insurance, long-term care insurance, and employment insurance assume a standard employee.
- Does not account for separate withholding on bonuses, subsidies, additional deductions, or year-end tax settlement.
- The result is an estimate and carries no legal or filing effect. Confirm with the relevant authority or a professional before filing or paying.

About the Net salary calculator
Does the dependant count include myself?
Yes. Include yourself in the number of qualifying family members, and add only family members who meet the basic deduction requirements such as the annual income limit.
Why is the number of children aged 8 to 20 entered separately?
The National Tax Service withholding tax table applies a separate tax credit based on how many qualifying family members are children aged 8 to 20.
Why does the amount differ from my payslip?
The actual amount depends on the pay reported by your employer, non-taxable items, deduction eligibility, year-end adjustments, and additional deductions.
Cut the repeat work of issuing and chasing payments
Bolta links payments to issued tax invoices and keeps receivables in order.
